Services the Clean Team Provides:

Sidewalk Cleaning: Mechanically or manually clean public walkways.

Alley Maintenance: Removal of bulk and illegally dumped items from the alleys by appointment.

Rat Eradication: Rat baiting is now provided by the City of Baltimore. Click here or call 311 to request this service.

Public Space Maintenance:The clean team maintains the green spaces in the community, including, but not limited to, the small parks at Presstman Street and Madison Avenue, at St. Paul Street and Lafayette, the median strips along Mount Royal, Eutaw Place and the parks of Mount Vernon Square. We also assist various volunteer gardening groups in the district.

Services the Safety Service Provides:

Escort Service: The escort service is provided to residents and visitors to Midtown Tuesday - Saturday 2:30pm - 10:30pm. This service may be accessed by calling Safety Escort, Clarence Johnson at 410-746-3782 at least fifteen minutes prior to the escort time. The Safety Escort will meet the caller to walk or drive him/her to any destination within the District. This is a courtesy service to the residents, visitors and employees of the District. The Safety Escort is trained to deter panhandling and is knowledgeable about the District, they provide public safety services for residents employees, students and visitors to Midtown and act as the "eyes and ears " for the police department.

Safety Information System: The many security providers in the District share information at our Security Council meetings. More urgent information is communicated through fax alerts, broadcast emails, two-way radio and a block representation system.

Security Audits: The District Administrator and the Police are available to meet with residents, businesses and institutions in their homes or facilities to provide safety tips and to suggest improvements that can be made to reduce their vulnerability to preventable crimes.
